*WED UPDATE*

Today we had the honor, of celebrating Veteran's Day with a group of awesome Veteran's!

We started stuffing at 8:00 a.m and made great progress. Around 11:30, we took a break and had Father Ronald Margherio give a prayer for all our military, past & present. A Veteran, Mark, gave a speech about his 2 deployments and what it meant to him and other soldiers to receive the stockings. Then he proceeded to sing a song that he wrote while in Iraq. It was simply AMAZING! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! Next, we had every Veteran stand up front, to receive a "Thank You, Veteran" pin that was presented to them, by the 7 children that attended Project Santa today. Afterward's we celebrated with a special cake just for them!
We continued the day with more stuffing and finished around 3:00 p.m

Our current count is now 5,076! More names are on the list, and more stockings will continue to be filled. Tomorrow is another day!

Thank you to everyone who participates in any way, shape or form. We couldn't do it without you!
